Redemption by Seriously

After a great summer, Seriously is back and ready to hit the ground running with its fourth single release “Redemption” today. The band looks forward to delivering another great tune to its fans off its “On Your Mark” single release campaign. See their previous singles released include Been So Long, Lost at Heart, and Immaculate Addiction

Lyrically crafted by bassist Nathan Park, “Redemption” is Nathan’s plea to God during a difficult period in his life. “I sought fulfillment in all the wrong places, only to be left feeling emptier than ever,” Nathan describes. “It was only in my humility and brokenness that I realized His promise for deliverance stands strong, and His redemptive plan is indeed what I had been searching for all along.” Inspired by Nathan’s lyrics, the band worked collectively to bring those words to life through the music and melodies. “Redemption” is replete with heavy Muse and Coldplay undertones ranging from bass-and-drum driven melodies to ambient guitar textures. The chorus, also Muse-inspired, is characterized by soaring and anthemic vocals and bridged with quieter verses to symbolize the song’s message of introspective realization.

About Seriously
Seriously, the young pop-rock band hailing from Diamond Bar, California, released their self-titled debut EP “Seriously,” in June 2007, and has been steadily blowing away audiences in the Southern California region. The four rambunctious members of Seriously, Chris Pham (lead singer), Nathan Park, (bassist), Joshua Baek, (lead guitarist) and Philip Park (drums), bring together the unique blend of styles found in their music. Winner of Kollaboration 6, Los Angeles’ largest annual Asian American talent showcase, Seriously signed a development deal with Chaos Theory Music. Since their first release, the band has greatly expanded its musical palette in exciting ways by incorporating funky grooves, synthesizers and other electronics to create an edgy rock sound interlaced with danceable grooves and catchy hooks.
