Los Angeles based singer Long Nguyen released a music video for his song “Around the Bend” off his “Shoebox Letters” album. The soulful crooner shot the music video last year in China. Long Nguyen is a talented singer/songwriter who was born in Vietnam. He and his family immigrated to the United States when he was a child. Growing up in Orange County, Long enjoyed singing in 90′s grunge cover bands. He attended UCLA, where he began writing and singing his own songs at open mics throughout Los Angeles.Long collaborated with musicians and spoken word artists, performing at many venues including universities, bars, clubs, and local radio shows. Long’s music has also been used in soundtracks for films in the Asian American indie film community. His music is often described as acoustic rock with folk influences. He looks forward to promoting his music while doing two of his favorite activities: traveling and performing.
