You Can Bring It by Verseatile x Decipher

Verseatile released his first music video for the new album, Worlds Apart! The concept behind this song “You Can Bring It” is to encourage taking on challenges boldly. Decipher and Verseatile shed a little light on some of the challenges they had to overcome, which built them to be stronger for the next one. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Video was shot last minute literally in 2 days.

Lyrics to You Can Bring It by Verseatile x Decipher

I was an only child, ain’t that great, lost my pops by the age of 8/
cancer took him down, painful place, didn’t show that I was full of rage and hate/
every single time when I looked at my mom, made me wanna drop a bomb on a doctor’s face/
yeah I said it man, doctor’s face, but I later learned that God gives grace/
get back, I don’t want to repeat myself, never been the type to ride the passenger seat,
no belt, put the pedal to the metal, got heavy feet, oh well/
driving to the limit like I’m Thelma & Louise, the hell with it/
this is what I felt when I really couldn’t tell, if I really fell when I dealt with it,
part of being a man, trying to discipline myself, but I needed help cuz I couldn’t dwell in it/

Hook:
Everything that I’ve been through, made me who I am today,
pain & pleasure, in between, ready for another day,
thought my life was over with, God intended me to stay,
you can judge me if you want, this is all I gotta say/
I’m a force to be reckoned with, and I just do what I gotta do, say what I gotta say/
taking on any challenges, so you can do what you gotta do, say what you gotta say/
You can bring it.

Sometimes we’re under pressure, sometimes it’s tons of pleasure, sometimes you wonder if you’ll ever feel the thunder, yes sir/
when the lightning strikes as the mic ignites, and we might invite you all in, no frightening nights, only brightening lights to the highest heights we’re calling/
