This footage was from a couple months ago, but still an interesting discussion. Lisa Ling talks about her miscarriage last year on The View. She courageously shares about her feelings of failure, loneliness, and fear about the complications of early pregnancy. She was seven weeks pregnant and the fetus had no heartbeat at week 9. It took awhile for her to open up, but when she did, she found out how pervasive miscarriages are. Out of her experience came her site Secret Society of Women, a place where women can anonymously divulge their deepest secrets about how they look, what they regret, what they fear, what they aspire to do, or whatever else they’ve been keeping inside.
