9th Annual National CAPACD Convention

National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development‘s (CAPACD’s) 9th Annual Convention brings together hundreds of community based practitioners, organizers and advocacy agencies in one of the largest gatherings nationwide. By bringing together actively engaged, ethnically and geographically diverse leaders in the community development field, the Convention is an opportunity to create and share a common vision and agenda, and take collective action to strengthen the APA community development movement.

This year’s theme is “Vision, Voices, Votes: Standing Together for Justice & Equity,” which emphasizes what is needed from our communities in this critical year — and the opportunities we have to lead the way as we address the foreclosure crisis facing the nation, promote long-term equitable development policies and influence a crucial residential election.

The event takes place at:

Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort

1855 South Harbor Boulevard

Anaheim, CA 92802

Part of this event will include the APIAVote Presidential Townhall at UC Irvine
