Cung Le shifts from MMA to acting

Vietnamese American mixed marital artist and Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Cung Le took a break from his undefeated career in mixed martial arts to be in Tekken the movie. Cung Le will play Marshall Law in Tekken, scheduled to be released in 2009. The movie release with sync up with the release of the Tekken 6 video game. Rumors are floating that Cung Le will quit MMA and become an actor. (Being an actor would be better than getting beaten up!!! Probably more lucrative too.) He already landed a role opposite Dennis Quad and Ben foster in sci-fi horror film Pandorum. Cung Le is also in talks with John Woo for one of his upcoming projects. Looks like Cung Le is trying to make a Hollywood career transition like The Rock in WWE.

Here's a recent quote from an interview with Cung Le from TopGunMMA:
Cung Le: Yeah, this is something big for me. This is a great opportunity. I have two movies that are going to be released. One at the end of this year and one next year with decent sized roles in there. Not huge roles and then all of a sudden this is a huge role. Pays pretty good too. It's comparable to fighting.

Watch the cage cam as Cung Le becomes Strikeforce Middleweight Champion. Will this be his last match?
