John Woo on Charlie Rose

John Woo was on Charlie Rose promoting Red Cliff, a film he’s wanted to make for over 20 years. In his first period movie and epic film, he creates a love story with the action he’s known for. He also talks about the state of cinema in China and why he returned to China to make films. Also interestingly, he wants to do a musical. He almost did Chicago.

Check out Red Cliff in theaters or VOD.

Tiger Woods hospitalized after accident

Tiger Woods hospitalized after a car accident at his Florida home. Around 2:30am, the car he was driving hit a fire hydrant at the end of his driveway then a tree. His wife smashed a windows on his car with a golf club to get him out. Tiger Woods was slipping in and out of consciousness as he was sent to the hospital. He has since been released and recovering at home.

Many questions are floating out there: What was Tiger Woods doing 2:30am in the morning? Why did his wife use a golf club instead of just opening the car door?

His own tournament is coming up that benefits his foundation. No word if he’ll be able to make it.
