Lil’ Guildies Animated Series Opening

Lil' Guildies Animated Series Opening

The Guild is going from the web to TV from 3D to 2D. They’ve inked a deal with a very prominent animation house to bring “Lil’ Guildies” to the Lil’ Screen! (That’s a TV for those of you who might have forgotten). Check out the opening sequence for Lil’ Guildies (very reminiscent of Muppet Babies/Tiny Toons). Fans of the Guild are stoked.

Lyrics to Lil’ Guildies Animated Series Opening

Everyone come along (log on)
Lil’ Guildies are questin’ again
Singin’ a happy song (come on)
Join the party with Codex and friends

Tink and Clara come a runnin’ on the double again
Zaboo’s sneakin’ up to get a cuddle again
Embryonic Bladezz is makin’ trouble again
And Vork has a monkey, a wah ha ho

Lil Guildies are on the case
Makin’ music and solving crime
And also they’re in outer space
Friends of yours and mine
It’s time for Lil’ Guildies time!

This was an April Fool’s Joke. Here’s more footage to make up for it. It was a fake opening for a fake show.

Taiwan loves Costco

Asians don’t just love Costco in the USA. (See Wong Fu Weekends Episode 3) They love it overseas too. Here’s a report about one of Costco’s top performing stores globally. It’s located in Taiwan. They sell a mix of American products such as Tide detergent and Pepperidge Farm cookies along with local items including sea cucumber, mahjong sets, and stewed and braised beef noodle soup. Their food court menu has Peking Duck pizza and fro-yo. Yes, they also still have FREE sample over there too. See the whole story here.

But I Will, Everyday (Justin Chon version)

Check out this Justin Chon directed version of a music video for a demo track Big Phony recorded with his friend Wendy Wang (The Sweet Hurt) called “But I Will, Everyday”. The entire video was shot on an iPhone and stars Tim Jo and Natalie Levigne. The video has a guy in a cow suit with a funny twist at the end that reminds us of White on Rice
