Free Screening of Shaolin Soccer in SF

San Francisco readers, the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) and the Japan Center Mall have partnered to bring you a very special free event in Japantown Peace Plaza. This weekend they’ll have a FREE outdoor screening of Shaolin Soccer, a 2001 Hong Kong comedy film co-written and directed by Stephen Chow, who also stars in the film. Here’s the details:

A former Shaolin monk reunites his five brothers, years after their master’s death, to apply their superhuman martial arts skills to play soccer and bring Shaolin kung fu to the masses.
