Japan hit by 8.9 quake & tsumani

Breaking news all over the place about the a major 8.9 earthquake hitting Japan and causing a massive 13-foot tsunami. The tremor struck at 2:46 pm local time creating powerful aftershocks including a 7.4 quake rocking the region. (We’ve been through a lot of earthquakes, but this one is very long and powerful.) Areas of Japan are underwater including Tokyo’s Disneyland parking lot along with fires in various parts of the country. News continues to flow in with more and more dramatic footage. Pray for Japan. The damage is expected to be higher than the quake and Tsunami that hit Indonesia in 2004.

Tsumani warnings have been issued around the world including Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Central and South America. In the US, sirens have sounded in Hawaii are evacuation. The West Coast of the US is also included in the warning.
