Gametime by Boombox Saints

Gametime by Boombox Saints
Boombox Saints released their Michael Jordan inspired music video “Gametime”. The basketball influenced single starts off with a trio of kids getting trounced on the court by a bigger, older group. The 3-on-3 game takes a turn when the Chicago Bulls jersey wearing kids get Michael Jordan basketball shoes. That gamechanger makes the difference in the game. You can download the track FREE here.

Lyrics to Gametime by Boombox Saints

All I need is a pen and a pad, I bleed on the track let you know where I’m at
My thoughts these thoughts, you thought I was wack but I smash and I trash you so called acts, and
When all the hating starts you doing something right, these lines of mine like lullabies that keep you up at night
Yeah, cause I’m up at night, I just keep climbing up them flights
Something like my Nike flights walk in my shoes done get it right
High tops tops so high, keep my mind on overdrive
Ain’t no need for overtime cause this game is over right

I be the H to the U to the double G Y when a couple years ago skills were layed low
Boom to the b-o-x the halo, ain’t no ther show like us I say so
It’s pedal to the metal we got our own lane, steady and ready we doin up big things
Stepping on stage I see em screw faces, pocket aces double down two face
It’s no surprise to me why they hate, lookin at me like it’s a vacation
What an imagination, unfortunate they time here is wasted
Crowds impatient anticipating, entertainment to grace the stage and
Next up to bat we flood the station, bases loaded grand slam history making

When the lights keep flashing and you
You feel that fire burn inside
And you get that feeling
It’s do or die
When it’s time you can’t lose a minute
And when the vibe is just right
Yeah you got to kill it, you got to kill it

Gametime

Every 4th quarter, I like to Mike Jordan em
Every 4th quarter, I like to Mike Jordan em
Every 4th quarter, I like to Mike Jordan em
Every 4th quarter, I like to Mike Jordan em

I been the underdog my whole damn life
Thats why I’m up at night tryna get this damn right
Gotta get my paper right, gotta get my family right
Gotta do what I say, say what I do, execute it right

This is that Joe Carter, this is that Michael J
This is that home run and this is that fade away
This is that cross over, underground to the radio
Done been paying dues, this is that f*ck you pay me flow

And you can say what you want, go ahead and hate me now
I get more love from your chick anyway so that sh*t balance out
It’s Boombox for the win baby count it down
3,2,1, we shut it down, like

When the lights keep flashing and you
You feel that fire burn inside
Man you know this feeling
It’s do or die
When it’s time you can’t lose a minute
But when the vibes feelings right
You got to kill it, you got to kill it

When the lights keep flashing and you
You feel that fire burn inside
And you get that feeling
It’s do or die
When it’s time you can’t lose a minute
And when the vibe is just right
Yeah you got to kill it, you got to kill it
