Marie Digby releases Say It Again music video

Marie Digby releases her first music video “Say It Again” off her album Unfold. The video uses cute stage props and designs. It’s like a stage/theater production. She’s definitely enjoying her new found fame and record deal. Here’s what she says bout the “Say It Again” video.

This is my official video for Say It Again!! I had so much fun shooting this video and I loved the props so much that I took a few of them home with me! I really hope you enjoy watching this … 🙂

At the end you will notice a rollerskating tree – interesting note is that I almost lost my head during one of the takes… Too bad that was edited out.. 😉

BTW – Marie Digby is half Japanese and half Irish.

Update:

Lyrics for Say It Again by Marie Digby

the thing about love

is i never saw it coming

it kind of crept up

and took me by surprise

and now there’s a voice inside my heart

its got me wondering

is it true..? I wanna hear it one more time

move in a little closer

take it to a whisper

just a little louder…

Say it Again for me

cause i love the way it feels

when you are telling me that i’m

the only one who blows your mind

say it again for me

it’s like the whole world

stops to listen

when you tell me you’re in love…

say it again

the thing about you

is you know just how to get me

you talk about us

like there’s not end in sight

the thing about me

is that i really wanna let you

open that door

and walk into my life

move in a little closer

take it to a whisper

just a little louder..

Say it Again for me

cause i love the way it feels

when you are telling me that i’m

the only one who blows your mind

say it again for me

it’s like the whole world

stops to listen

when you tell me you’re in love..

and it feels like

it’s the first time

that anybody’s ever brought

the sun without the rain

never in my whole life

have i heard words

as beautiful as when you say my name..

A Dream in Doubt

“A Dream in Doubt” is an immigrant story in a world in which patriotism has morphed into murder. When Rana Singh Sodhi’s brother is killed in America’s first post-9/11 revenge murder, he begins a journey to reclaim his American dream and fight the hate that continues to threaten his community. This intimate, hour-long documentary of one man’s odyssey from persecution in India to embracing America as his homeland proves that courage and hope have the power to overcome hate. “A Dream in Doubt” started airing this week, so check local PBS listings.

APA Month Day 23 – director Justin Lin

Chinese American director Justin Lin learned his trade form the UCLA Film School. The film that put him on the map was “Better Luck Tomorrow”. This film made waves at The Sundance Film Festival when a member of the audience asked how Justin & co. could “make a film as so empty and amoral for Asian Americans and for Americans”. Movie critic Roger Ebert stepped up and defended the film. In 2002, Justin made it on Variety Magazine’s “Ten Directors to Watch”. From independent films, he jumped into Hollywood films. His first studio picture was Annapolis, which was greeted with mixed reviews, but found an audience in DVDs. His next film was “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,” which took in almost $160 million worldwide. This was an amazing feat considering this was a whole new cast from the original “The Fast and the Furious”. Drifting became the “in” thing. Justin Lin went back to indie flix by directing the hilarious “Finishing the Game: The Search for a New Bruce Lee”. Currently, Justin Lin is filming “The Fast and the Furious 4”
