A Thousand Years of Good Prayers is the first big screening for the San Diego Asian Film Foundation. This is the companion film for The Princess of Nebraska. Both films are based on short stories by Yiyun Li. Here’s the info about the screening:

synopsis: A father (Henry O) flies from China to comfort his newly divorced daughter in America, but finds himself lost in a different culture.

When: Thursday, February 19, 6:30 PM & 8:30 PM

Complimentary reception for attendees at 8 PM in theater lobby
