Lyrics to Baby Remix by Lil Crazed x Tommy C

(Lil Crazed)
remember in class when i used to pass,
notes to ya, jokes to ya, hoping ya would open up,
you looked back with a smile and blushed,
felt so “squeezed and stuck,” i guess i had a CRUSH,
struck with puppy love, but because, we was so young,
nobody believed, including me,
that we could be any type of unity,
then we grew up, passed puberty,
after some years, forgot about you and me,
then i seen ya at the club looking nothing but fly,
“buggin,” still had the butterflies,
then you took me by surprise, u said “hi,
remember me?” i almost wanted to lie,
but said “how could i forget, are you crazy?”
and then i looked at ya and i was like …..baby

(Tommy C)
since you been gone,
i been here alone,
and i was wrong,
to ever let you go,

and now i want you back,
i never felt like that,
my train’s gone off the track,
how can i get right back,

inside your world,
you are my girl,
and one’s gonna stop me,
from getting next to you,

heaven knows how hard i try,
do anything to be by your side,
fight da fears, swallow my pride,
to have you here baby oh,

Also check out the winner for the 2010 Hip Hop Census, Chris Logic.

Lyrics to Chris Logic’s track

Everybodys sayin hip hop died but

I think its still alive, just

Livin somewhere where we cant find it

Thats why the whole world is so blinded

Of the fact that we need backpack

But they dont know that cause they like wack raps

The bars been dropped to get into the game

Dont you wish some things stay the same

Cause they used to do it for the love, not the fame

Now they all rap about rocks and chains

Is that what it takes if I wanna make it?

Turn on the radio and I cant take it

Cause everything comin out sounds alike

And they dont even know what they soundin like

Cause we know you got big cars and big chains

So listen to Obama and make a big change

Inspire these kids to follow their big dreams

And stop telling them its about the big things

The fame takes over these dudes, it wont stop

so in the end, yeah, they got writers block

so what do they do? They turn to their lifestyle

so you aint hearin right you are hearing right now

so I pray that they put the mic down

and put some thought into the lyrics they write down

turn the autotune off and get ya mind right

and stop worrying so much about the limelight

now lets rise to a new elevation

educate the minds of the next generation
