When It Rains by Derez

When It Rains by Derez

Rapper Derez (formerly CityBoy) drowns his sorrow in his single “When It Rains”. His new original track takes a darker tone as he reflects on a broken relationship. The sharp lyrical words release vicious verses. He contemplates what happens running scenarios in his head. When it rains, it falls. You won’t feel the pain at all.

Listen to more music by Derez aka City Boy including Don’t Gotta Go, Fly Higher, You Gonna Love Me and Kiss U, This For You, and Na Na Na Na.

Gone (Acoustic) by Justin Nozuka

Singer Justin Nozuka recorded an acoustic version of “Gone” at his home. Previously, he did a version of this song with RZA and Kobra Khan. The stripped down version provides a more emotional take on the single. You can download this version below:

Gone (Acoustic) by Justin Nozuka

Woke up this morning, hoped that
It was all a nightmare, you’re gone
Tried to get out of my bed
I couldn’t find no reason, you’re gone
It breaks my heart, cause I’ll never see you again
It breaks my heart, cause I’ll never see you again
And my heart aches, cause I’ll never see you again
You’re gone…

Looked out the window and stared at the sun
I couldn’t see the light, I couldn’t see, oh lord, you’re gone
You’re gone

It breaks my heart, cause I’ll never see you again
It breaks my heart, cause I’ll never see you again
And my heart aches, cause I’ll never see you again
You’re gone…

My blood pumps with anger and sorrow and liquor
Tell me how, can I live without you now that you’re gone?
You’re gone

It breaks my heart, cause I’ll never see you again
It breaks my heart, cause I’ll never see you again
And my heart aches, cause I’ll never see you again
You’re gone…

Mixed Blooms : Episode 6
Comedy web series Mixed Blooms concludes with the Season 1 finale “The Great Big Green Coming Out”. The series follows Kim Fluge (Teresa Huang, FX’s “The Riches”) and her husband Brian (John Schaffer, 2011 Dances With Films selection, STAN) as they attempt to keep their little flower shop afloat while raising a curious teenager (Cortney Lee). Here’s more about episode 6 of Mixed Blooms:

Kim is driven to the drink when environmentalists protest outside the flower shop, and someone comes flying out of the closet. Guest stars include Michael Cornacchia (“The Pacellis”), Brian Rodda and YouTube star, Tanya Bershadsky!

You might notice something a little different about Mixed Blooms– it features Asians in leading comedic roles that don’t fit a stereotype. It also includes more women and minorities behind-the-scenes, and strives to show that diversity and commercial viability can live happily together.

Across the parking lot stands Mega Market, whose manager (Mary) is in constant competition with Kim. Luckily, The Fluges have a creative streak and passion for flowers that get them over the many hurdles of running a small business.
