YOMYOMF Network kick things off with the first episode of Internet Icon. Judges Ryan Higa and Christine Lakin along with host Chester See meet the top contestants from across the nation in Hollywood, CA in search of the first Internet Icon. Similar to American Idol and America’s Got Talent, the judges critique the contestant’s YouTube channel to see who will be the most appealing to their audience.

The duo Durwood (Golda Inquito & Gertie Meza) released a music video for the single “Belle of the Ball” off their upcoming album. They blends rich harmonies with bright sounds, unforgettable melodies and impassioned lyrics. In the video, follow the romance of Belle (Kato-Kiriyama) and Wolfie (Greg Watanabe) as they party the night away. Just Kidding Films x David So x AJ Rafael join together for a parody of Justin Bieber’s “Die In Your Arms” with “Lie in Your Barn.” Dressed as farm animals, they give their perspective of life on a farm. Listen as a chicken (David So), a cow (Bart Kwan), a pig (Joe Jo), and a sheep (AJ Rafael) sing about lying in a barn. It’s tough being a barn animal when you’re always forced to be out in the fields without any luxuries. Animals need vacations too! The new comedy Sullivan & Son is set to premiere next month with a multiracial cast that features comedian Steve Byrne, Jodi Long and Vivian Bang. Here’s more about Sullivan & Son:
Steve Sullivan (Steve Byrne) is a successful corporate attorney from New York who brings his girlfriend, Ashley (guest star Brooke Lyons – 2 Broke Girls) for a visit just as his Irish-American father, Jack Sullivan (Dan Lauria – The Wonder Years), and Korean mother, Ok Cha (Jodi Long – Beginners), are preparing to sell the bar and retire. It doesn’t take Steve long to realize that what he really wants out of life is to return to the old neighborhood and take over Sullivan & Son, even if it means giving up a lavish Manhattan lifestyle. And so begins Steve’s quest for a more meaningful and rewarding life behind the bar.

Another day and another YOMYOMF Network trailer. We’ve seen the trailers for BFFs, Internet Icon and Acting for Action. Now the network is adding sci-fi to the mix with the webseries Drone. In the near future, war drone technology has advanced and a new weapon has been unleashed – a humanoid drone stronger and faster than any soldier. But in the aftermath of a mysterious incident, a damaged battle drone is forced to go on the run with its programmer to try and take down their corrupt commander. The series stars Kenneth Choi (“Captain America: First Avenger”) and Lance Reddick (“Fringe”). Look for the first episode to appear in August 2012.
