Agents of Secret Stuff (A.S.S.) Trailer

We told you about the secret project between Ryan Higa and Wong fu Productions called Agents of Secret Stuff (A.S.S.). The official trailer for the 40 minute fillm is out. It pits Agents of Secret Stuff vs Society Involving No-So-Good Stuff (S.I.N.S.) and stars Ryan Higa and Arden Cho. The comedy spy thriller takes place in a high school where Ryan Higa must protect Arden Cho with special appearances by smosh, kassemg, hiimrawn, d-trix, and more. The full movie is slated to be release on November 24, 2010. Right in time for Thanksgiving. The film was made on their own, no big budgets, no big companies…just Wong Fu Productions, Ryan Higa, a few of their friends and supporters, and a lot of hard work and time. Even without the big budget, the film looks explosive. Who’s excited for this film? We definitely are!!

Kollaboration Boston 2011

In April 2011, Kollaboration expands to Boston, marking it as the 12th city to catch fire with the Kollaboration movement. As a celebration of Asian American talent, Kollaboration Boston will be a milestone for the APA community given its strong demographic presence in the Boston metropolitan area. Eric Nam, executive director of Kollaboration Boston, said, “Kollaboration has a unique mission of Empowerment through Entertainment. It’s guaranteed to be a breakthrough in every sense, showcasing Asian American talent while unifying the community like no other show in Boston has done before”. Kollaboration Boston currently plans to host the talent show at John Hancock Hall. A core team of 20 passionate young professionals and students from Boston College, Tufts, Wellesley, and beyond have launched into the planning phases of the show and have begun its search for performers, judges, and volunteers.

ABOUT KOLLABORATION
Kollaboration is an annual non-profit talent show competition seeking to bring mainstream attention to Asian American artistic talent, founded in 2000 in Los Angeles by Paul ‘PK´ Kim. Kollaboration entertains and engages the local community through a celebration of API talent, thereby expanding representation of API in the mainstream media as well as raising awareness of APA issues in the public eye. Since its inception, what began as a modest talent show has snowballed into a national movement. Catching fire from city to city across the United States and in Canada, Kollaboration is active in LA, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, DC, NY, Tulsa, Houston, Columbia, San Francisco, and Toronto and is finally coming to Boston in 2011. Every year, Kollaboration continues to rally together students, businesses, community leaders, celebrities, and performers across the APA community together for the common cause of ³Empowerment Through Entertainment´.
