I Never Said That It Was Easy by Jesse Barrera x Melissa Polinar

Singer Jesse Barrera gave a sneak peek of his song “I Never Said That It Was Easy” off his upcoming album “You’ll Feel Alive“. The track give you a jazzy R&B vibe about regrets about a broken relationship. He faces the emotional torture of second guessing a break up.

Jesse Barrera’s last album Love in Techincolor featured songs like Stay With Me and Tangled Up. He’s also been busy the past year working with other Asian American artists: Hiding Feelings, Red Roses, I Don’t Care, Thoughts, Too Short to Ride, and Work.

Lyrics to I Never Said That It Was Easy by Jesse Barrera x Melissa Polinar

YOUR LOVE IS LIKE THE FIRST DRAG IN THE MORNING /
IT’S THE FOG STILL IN THE AIR /
IT’S THE STREET LIGHTS IN THE EVENING /
A BROKEN HEART THAT YOU CAN’T REPAIR /
IT’S THE EMPTY BOTTLES AFTER MIDNIGHT /
IT’S THE RAINDROPS IN THE SPRING TIME /
IT’S THE PAINFUL REALIZATION THAT I’M NEVER GETTING OVER THIS WONDERING, I’M WONDERING /
JUST WHY I EVEN LEFT YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE /
WHY I EVER TOOK YOU FOR GRANTED /
I NEVER SAID THAT IT WAS EASY, NO /
BUT I’M LEAVING /
YES, I’M LEAVING /
CAN YOU TELL ME WHY DO I STILL HURT EVEN THOUGH I KNOW I PUSHED YOU AWAY /
I PUSHED YOU AWAY /
DO I FEEL THE LOVE RUNNING THROUGH MY BODY EVERY SINGLE DAY /
WHEN I TOLD MY HEART TO STAY AWAY /

MY MIND’S BEEN SPINNING ON A RACETRACK /
WITH NO WINNER AT THE END /
I’M JUST TRYING TO SEE WHERE LOVE’S AT /
NO TURNING BACK /
I AIN’T IN THE MOOD FOR A HEART ATTACK /

EVERYBODY’S ASKING WHY I’M LEAVING /
ANOTHER CHANCE TO MAKE A CHANGE /
I’M LEAVING /
TO MAKE IT ON MY OWN /
I’M LEAVING IF IT HURTS TO KNOW /
THAT IT WAS BEAUTIFUL WHILE IT LASTED

Mr. Chew's Asian Beaver with Mika Tan x Sum Ting Wong

Grumpy Panda Films are at it again. After putting out I’m Wendi Deng, Trick! mocking the whole Wendi Deng smackdown, they turn their guns toward the porn industry. With the help of pornstar Mika Tan and Sum Ting Wong, they create an Asian porn parody that gives a whole new meaning to scissoring….you know with scrapbooking.
