The Jubilee Project releases a video response to the tragedy that has devastated Japan. These natural disasters have taken the lives of thousands of people and many more are still missing. They felt compelled to respond by organizing a video fundraiser to support World Vision in Japan with the short “Top Chef”. It chronicles a cooking date gone wrong and features CLARA C, Jennifer Chung, Arden Cho and Jason Y. Lee.
In light of the recent tsunami in Japan, The Jubilee Project will be donating a penny for every view that this video receives in the month of March on The Jubilee Project YouTube channel. If you’d like to become a sponsor of the video and match this donation, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Therefore, if the video gets 100 views, sponsors donate $1 and if the video gets 1000 views, sponsors donate $10. 100% of the proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to World Vision in Japan to provide emergency supplies like life-saving food and water to those who need it most.
In addition, the Jubilee Project will donate a portion of their Concert Tour sales to World Vision. There are two events left in the tour in Philadelphia (3/19) and Boston (3/26). Finally, the Jubilee Project is pleased to announce that their video “Beautiful” is one of 16 finalists in the YouTube DoGooder nonprofit video of the year awards. Voting will end on midnight March 14, 2011.
