Nice Girls by Megan Lee x Justin Chon

Nice Girls by Megan Lee x Justin Chon

Singer/actress Megan Lee along with pal actor Justin Chon make a spoof of Nice Guys by Ryan Higa x kevjumba x Chester See. The girl version of the song has Megan Lee singing and rapping, while Justin Chon dresses in drag as the role of the bad/nice girl. Smash Hitta on the instrumentals for this track. The dueling songs Nice Guys vs Nice Girls remind us of TLC’s No Scrubs vs Sporty Thievz’ No Pigeons.

Lyrics to Nice Girls by Megan Lee

Nice girls finish last
that’s why I’ll treat you like trash
it’s not what I really wanna do
But you only date bad girls so
I’ll give in my best try to
treat you the way you want me to

I’ll never do my hair
or match the clothes I wear
I’m gonna sit the way I want to
so you better not care
and i’m sorry what did you say?
I wasn’t listening to what you said today yea..
natural beauty don’t care what that means
I’m wearing all the make-up till it sells out clean
not a nice girl anymore but a brand new troll
so you better wait and watch me how I rock and roll

Nice girls finish last
that’s why I’ll treat you like trash
it’s not what I really wanna do
But you only date bad girls so
I’ll give in my best try to
treat you the way you want me to

And Imma make you
hold all of my stuff
you’ll get a beating from my fist
if you say it’s enough
Don’t even think about telling me what’s on your mind
because all you’ll be doing is wasting my time
oh no (oh no) oh no you didn’t
can’t believe you got me something with carbs in it
whenever you talk all i hear is Blah Blah Blah
I guess its time to leave because of what i saw

Nice girls finish last
that’s why I’ll treat you like trash
it’s not what I really wanna do
But you only date bad girls so
I’ll give in my best try to
treat you the way you want me to

Behind the scenes
he means the world to me
I wanna tell him that he’s wonderful
and show him that he’s loved
But how when he’s scared
tell him how much I care
but that won’t win his heart
because

Nice girls finish last
that’s why I’ll treat you like trash
it’s not what I really wanna do
But you only date bad girls so
I’ll give in my best try to
treat you the way you want me to

Houston Rockets Yao Ming to retire from NBA

Houston Rockets Yao Ming to retire from NBA

Multiple sources are reporting that Houston Rockets center Yao Ming has decided to retire after nine NBA seasons. Due to injuries, Yao Ming has only played 5 games over the past two seasons. He’s never fully recovered after surgery on his left foot to repair a stress fracture. Yahoo Sports blogged that he gave notice of his decision to leave the league with in the past 48 hours. No official word from Yao Ming.

Yao Ming was slated to be a free agent once the NBA lockout ends. If this is true, the #1 draft pick of the 2002 NBA draft will end his career with almost 500 games played and averaging 19 points, 1.9 blocks, and 9.3 rebounds per game. We’ll miss seeing the 7 ft 6 in center play on the courts of the NBA.

What will he do in retirement? In 2009, he purchased his former team, the Shanghai Sharks, in China. Yao will have his hands full with that club and probably endorsement deals.

By My Side music video by David Choi x Wong Fu Productions

By My Side music video by David Choi x Wong Fu Productions

Singer David Choi x Wong Fu Productions teamed up for their third music video together, By My Side. (Previously, David Choi and Wong Fu Productions collaborated on Won’t Even Start and That Girl.) The latest David Choi song to get the Wong Fu Productions treatment is the title track of David Choi’s album “By My Side.” In the music video, David Choi tries to reach the love of his life Jennifer Ong. Wong Fu Productions hits another homerun with the “boy meet girl” storyline. Here’s more about the concept of the music video:

“I just want you by my side.” David’s song is about a desire to be with someone. And to find that person among all the people we encounter in our lifetime, is pretty magical already. But how do we show that in a video? Wong Fu has done a good number of “boy meets girl” stories, but this time we wanted to convey something in a more abstract manner. In the beginning of the video, we catch David in the middle of a process. The balloons he makes can be seen as the things he does to show his feelings to the girl. She sits higher than him, initially unattainable. Whether it’s to pursue or maintain a relationship, people always need to make different efforts and sacrifices. We’ve all made “balloons” for someone. Eventually he wins her over and she let’s him up to her world by giving him the key. The ending should not be perceived as him rescuing her. She does not need rescuing. Rather, there is no ending. What happens is simply natural– they exit from a place they know and into an unknown future. However frightening this sounds, the fact that they are together makes it worth it. Hopeful. Happy. Side by side.

Lyrics to By My Side music video by David Choi

I’m just listening to the clock go ticking,
I am waiting as the time goes by.
I think of you with every breath I take,
I need to feel your heartbeat next to mine.
You’re all I see, in everything.

I just wanna hold you,
I just wanna kiss you,
I just wanna love you all my life.
I normally wouldn’t say this,
but I just can’t contain it.
I want you here forever,
right here by my side.

All the fears you feel inside,
and all the tears you cry,
they’re ending right here.
I’ll heal your heart and soul;
I’ll keep you oh so close.
Don’t worry; I’ll never let you go.
You’re all I need, you’re everything.

I just wanna hold you,
I just wanna kiss you,
I just wanna love you all my life.
I normally wouldn’t say this,
but I just can’t contain it.
I want you here forever,
right here by my side.

No one else will ever do.
I got a stubborn heart for you.
Call me crazy, but its true; I love you.
I didn’t think that it would be,
you have made it clear to me.
You’re all I need.

I just wanna hold you,
I just wanna kiss you,
I just wanna love you all my life.
I normally wouldn’t say this,
but I just can’t contain it.
I want you here forever,
right here by my side.
