Singer Jasmine Villegas tackles the tough topic of physical abuse in a relationship in the music video for her single “Didn’t Mean It“. She starts the video with the message “Everybody has a story, this is part of my story and it has made me who I am. Never feel embarrassed or ashamed of any trials you’ve endured. Grow from it and Never Look Back. You are not alone.” Shortly after, you see her being dragged out by her hair into another room. The storyline continues with Jasmine V and her significant other struggling in their relationship, mainly through abuse. She attempts to leave, but suffers even more.
