Alex Wong Eliminated from SYTYCD due to injury

Alex Wong

This is unfortunate news, but according to several reports, Alex Wong has been eliminated from So You Think You can Dance Season 7 due to an Achilles tendon injury that he suffered during the competition. Wong was injured Tuesday night during his final rehearsal of his Bollywood number and required surgery. It hurts to see someone who had a chance to win it all leave the show this way, but we wish him well.

You can check out his amazing hip-hop routine that Alex performed last week here.

A few months ago, we posted an article about Justin Nozuka releasing his first music video for his first single “My Heart Is Yours” for his upcoming album, “You I Wind Land and Sea.”  Justin has just released his music video for his second single titled “Heartless”. Shot in a very peaceful, elegant, and forest-like setting, Justin’s vocals perfectly complement the style and vibe of the environment around him. You can also check out behind the scenes footage below.

2010 FIFA World Cup – Finals

It all comes down to this…
Netherlands vs. Spain
Oranje vs. La Roja.
Team Ajax vs. Team Barcelona
Total football at it’s best
It really should not be a surprise seeing these two teams battle it out in the World Cup final (Spain is ranked #2 and Netherlands is ranked #4 in the latest FIFA rankings)…. but football historians realize that team Oranje and La Roja has historically been two of the most underwhelming teams in world cup history.  Neither team has tasted cup glory, but all of that will change by Sunday night… in under 48 hours, we will crown a new world cup champion.  Will the flair and style of the  Spanish armada dominate once again…. or will the consistency and resilience of the Dutch side win the day.  Either way, we are in for a treat come Sunday afternoon. Do you want a prediction??  Lets ask our resident physic octopus what he thinks.
Who would Paul choose?

Paul picks Spain!!  La Roja!!  Enough talk, see you at the game!

Arrangements

Arrangements

Arrangements is one of six finalist competing for the grand prize the National Festival Tour CINEMA ME Short Film Competition. The contest asked non-professional filmmakers to give their take on Asian American film in under five minutes. Here’s a quick synopsis of the film:

Arrangements is about loss and coming to terms with it. A silent film, with a beautifully fitted score, the film is emotional and leaves you with a feeling of hope rather than endless mourning.

Find out if it wins during the 2010 AAIFF in New York. Also see these other finalists: Still Life, Receiver, Market Price, and Letters from Alaska
