This is how we never met by Wong Fu Productions

The guys at Wong Fu Productions released their latest short film “This is how we never met” featuring Ki Hong Lee and Tiffany “TC” Chung. Although two people who are drawn to each other, they end up giving up on their initial attraction over the course of a few poorly timed events, misunderstandings and assumptions. For better or worse, the short is inspired by all the times you’ve seen someone across the room at a cafe/park/library, but never had the guts to say anything for one reason or another. Sometimes our imagination just gets out of control. Here’ more from Wong Fu Productions about the sktech:

We hope it motivates you not to judge people from afar, and maybe gives you a little courage to take chances. At the same time, don’t use this as inspiration to be that crazy guy/girl who approaches everyone, lol. Good luck!

Hopefully, this video inspires you to take the next step, but don’t go crazy.

A Breathtaking Trip To That Otherside : short film by Alexander Spit

Rapper Alexander Spit‘s upcoming LP “A Breathtaking Trip To That Otherside” gets the short film treatment. Set to the music of the LP, the video follows a sad tale of a little girl who grows up in the streets with her junkie father. Her journey in life isn’t easy from childhood to adulthood. She sees and deals with a lot at a very young age, which molds her to the person she becomes. Alexander Spit’s music reinforces her story every step of the way on her trip to that other side.

Fresh Off The Boat With Eddie Huang: Back in Taiwan Part 1

Chef Eddie Huang returns to his homeland of Taiwan again to get heavy into the heavy metal scene complete with tattoos, face paint, screaming vocal lessons, and furry pink pillows. A long the way Eddie makes a quick pitstop to taste Taiwan’s famous “little snacks” in Gongguan picking up all sorts of street treats. Over a home cooked meal with local Metal group CHTHONIC in their lair, they debate the pros and cons of Taiwanese independence. Definitely, a touchy and controversial subject in the Chinese/Taiwanese community.
