Appreciation by Infinity Funk Project

Infinity Funk Project dropped a fresh track over the Thanksgiving weekend. They offer a funky hip hop flavor on their track “Appreciation”. Here’s a special message from Infinity Funk Project.

What makes this song so special is that we literally started writing this song at 10:30pm and finished recording and mixing it down just now. We were hoping to have it finished and released by 12:30am on the dot but due to uploading this track was about 5 minutes late. Hope you all enjoy the hard work we put into this track!! ENJOY!

Coffee & Snow 2 by Blue Scholars

Coffee & Snow 2 by Blue Scholars

Blue Scholars released the sequel to their song “Coffee & Snow“. It snowed again in their Seattle hood, so the made another track entitled, what else, “Coffee & Snow 2.” It’s a fun video to see what Geo does when it snows from slipping on ice to playing Starcraft. If you’re trapped in the snow too, you can relate to this track from the Blue Scholars.

You can listen to the track and download it below

It comes in three flavors Coffee & Snow 2 (yellow), Coffee & Snow 2 (White), and Bărf Riddim (beats only). Play the Yellow Snow version in your car, play the White Snow version on the radio. BTW – don’t eat yellow snow.

More about The Resistance web series
Set in the dying world of Aurordeca, THE RESISTANCE is an action-packed thriller revolving around an epic tale of destiny and revenge.

SYRUS PRIMORIS (Adrian Zaw), a brilliant chemist, has taken control of the ten regions of Aurordeca in the wake of a devastating plague. Half the population is already dead. It is only Syrus and his miracle suppressant, NOXE, that keep the survivors from succumbing to the virus. In exchange, the people grant Syrus absolute power.

Only one group stands in open opposition to the regime. The Aurordecan Resistance Movement (ARM), led by the fierce and driven LANA. ARM sees Syrus for the despot he truly is and fights tirelessly to find a cure for the disease and to free the people from their enslavement to the suppressant. But everything changes through a chance encounter with a mysterious and deadly drifter, ARCLITE. In our exciting first installment of The Resistance, LANA searches for a microchip that contains crucial information; Syrus plots to bring down ARM once and for all; and a mysterious stranger might hold the answer to saving the world.

Toyota Rollercoaster commercial

We keep seeing this Toyota ad on YouTube. Check out this commercial featuring an Asian dad with his daughter as part of the “Ideas for Good” campaign. What if we used the Hybrid Synergy Drive to create the world’s first self-sustaining amusement park? The cutest part is the little girl in the back seat saying “Daddy! I’m four.” She’s as cute as Kylie in the Microsoft commercials.

Jennifer Field : KTown reality show cast

Jennifer Field might just be the hottest female on the KTown Reality Show cast. The half-Korean, half-Irish/English/German party animal describes herself as extremely dramatic, eccentric, and passionate. (See the Asian Jersey Shore Cast Reel to see some of the drama. You can see Jennifer Field getting her hair grabbed by Violet Kim. At the end of the reel, she exclaims “I just tore up that place up like I tear up every place in Ktown.”) In her bikini-clad interview, the beauty queen and model talks about her biracial roots along with what she looks for in a man. Although she wants to date Korean men, they haven’t met up with her expectations. She’s just controversy waiting to happen.

White on Rice on Hulu

If you missed White on Rice on the film festival circuit, you can now catch the whole movie FREE on Hulu. Here’s a synopsis of the film:

Director David Boyle (“Big Dreams Little Tokyo“) returns with his sophomore effort, “White on Rice,” the comedic story of Jimmy (Hiroshi Watanabe, “Letters from Iwo Jima”), a misguided 40-year-old divorcee trying to navigate his way through a new life in America and out of his sister Aiko’s (Japanese Academy Award winner Yuuki Nae) basement. Disgraced by his disgruntled brother-in-law Tak (Mio Takada, “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”), the immature yet adorable Jimmy spends his nights in search of a new wife who shares his love of dinosaurs and geology. Things go horribly awry when Jimmy falls desperately in love with Tak’s niece, the beautiful Ramona (Lynn Chen, “Saving Face”), and vows to steal her away from his co-worker Tim (“Heroes”‘ James Kyson Lee). Meanwhile, Bob, Jimmy’s newphew and bunkbed mate, harbors a secret talent that holds the key to rekindling the passion in his parents marriage. Hilarious and heartwarming, “White on Rice” is a Japanese American comic treat for the whole family.

It’s a great film that will make you laugh. Here’s some bonus material we’ve posted White on Rice Music Video by Goh Nakamura, interviews with Lynn Chen and director Dave Boyle. Coming soon look for Dave Boyle’s next flick Surrogate valentine with Goh Nakamura and Lynn Chen.
